Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for 2MAD's Pro subscription and other paid features.
1. Pro Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time:
- Go to Settings → Manage Subscription → Cancel
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle
- You retain Pro access until the end of the paid period
- No partial refunds for unused days in the current cycle
After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan. Your data is preserved. Pro features become read-only or limited per free-tier rules.
2. 14-Day Free Trial
New users get a 14-day free Pro trial.
- No payment is collected until the trial ends
- You can cancel anytime during the trial with no charge
- If you do not cancel, your subscription begins at ₹699/month (or ₹6,999/year if you selected the annual plan)
3. Refund Eligibility
We offer refunds in the following cases:
Full refund:
- Accidental double subscription within 24 hours
- Failed activation due to a technical issue on our side
- Subscription charged after a cancellation request was submitted
Pro-rated refund (case-by-case):
- Service outage lasting more than 48 continuous hours
No refund:
- Change of mind after the 14-day trial
- Partial month usage
- Unused features
- Account suspension due to policy violation
4. How to Request a Refund
Email hello@2mad.app with:
- Your registered phone number
- Razorpay payment ID (from your payment confirmation)
- Reason for refund request
We respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days (Razorpay's standard timeline).
5. Platform Fees on Invoice Payments
The 2% platform fee charged on invoice payments is not refundable once the underlying invoice has been paid by your client. This is because the fee is deducted at the time of settlement, and the transaction is complete.
If your client requests a refund from you for an invoice, you must handle that refund directly with your client. 2MAD does not mediate disputes between you and your clients.
6. Digital Products
If you sell digital products through 2MAD:
- Refund policy for your digital products is set by you, the seller
- 2MAD does not provide refunds for digital product purchases
- Disputes are between buyer and seller (you)
7. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback through your bank without first contacting us, your account may be suspended pending investigation. We encourage you to email hello@2mad.app first so we can resolve the issue directly.
