Terms of Service

Welcome to 2MAD. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the 2MAD mobile and web application (the "Service") operated by Madhumitha Lavakumar (transitioning to MADSAT Private Limited).

By creating an account or using 2MAD, you agree to these Terms.

1. What 2MAD Does

2MAD is a tool for Indian creators, freelancers, and solo hustlers to:

• Send invoices and collect payments
• Track clients, brand deals, and earnings
• Sell digital products
• Manage business expenses and TDS
• Share a public creator profile

2. Account Registration

• You must be 18 years or older to use 2MAD
• You must provide a valid Indian phone number
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• One person may not maintain multiple free accounts to bypass free-tier limits

3. Free Plan and Pro Subscription

Free Plan includes:

• 2 active clients
• 5 invoices per month
• Basic features

Pro Plan (₹699/month or ₹6,999/year) includes:

• Unlimited clients and invoices
• Razorpay payment links
• Digital product sales
• Media kit and rate card generation
• Custom profile theme
• CSV export
• 14-day free trial for new users

Subscription auto-renews until cancelled.

4. Platform Fee

For payments processed through 2MAD's integrated payment links, we charge a 2% platform fee on the gross transaction amount. This fee is deducted automatically before settlement to your account. The fee is clearly displayed in your invoice and earnings views.

5. Payments

• Subscription and invoice payments are processed by Razorpay
• You agree to Razorpay's terms of service for payment processing
• Settlements to your account follow Razorpay's standard timelines
• You are responsible for any taxes (GST, TDS, income tax) applicable to your earnings

6. Your Responsibilities

You agree NOT to use 2MAD to:

• Send invoices for fraudulent or illegal services
• Sell illegal digital products
• Harass, defraud, or scam users or clients
• Upload viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Attempt to bypass platform fees or subscription limits
• Misrepresent your identity or business
• Violate Indian laws including IT Act 2000, GST regulations, and income tax laws

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in 2MAD — invoices, client data, deals, profile content, digital products.

By using 2MAD, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely to operate the Service.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of all content you create.

8. Intellectual Property

2MAD's brand, logo, design, code, and Service are owned by Madhumitha Lavakumar (to be transferred to MADSAT Private Limited). You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or resell 2MAD.

9. Service Availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee 100% availability. 2MAD may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control. We are not liable for losses arising from service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:

• 2MAD is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 6 months
• We are not responsible for disputes between you and your clients

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice where possible.

On termination, your data is deleted within 30 days unless we are legally required to retain it.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
